LOI’s first Zoom event on March 23rd was fully booked, and an opportunity to hear some moving stories about how people had grown in their appreciation, not only of another tradition, but also of their own. Prof Jim Stamoolis, and his former student, Dr Nathan Hoppe (they moved in ‘opposite’ directions!);
Dr Myrto Theocharous, an Evangelical now married to an Orthodox;
Anton Ponomarev, a Russian Orthodox who works extensively with Evangelical mission agencies;
and the current general secretary of the World Council of Churches, Fr Ioan Sauca.
